Engineering
Welcome to Engineering!
Purpose:	Powers the station and holds equipment to repair inevitable damage to the station.
Key items:	Hardsuits, tank dispensers, SMES cells

Engineering

The Engineering Department has rooms all around the station - such as Atmospherics and the Vacant Office - but this page will focus on facilities that are in the Engineering section of the station only.

The Engine
The engine rotates between the Singularity Engine and the Supermatter Engine, with both having an equal chance of occurring. The engine is the main source of power into the station. The engine will be in the centre of Engineering.

SMES Room
The farthest west inside Engineering is where this room is located. It houses three SMES cells which provide power to the station. A P.A.C.M.A.N. portable-generator is also located here. This room is a prime target of antagonists looking to black out the station, so check each SMES once in a while to make sure they're not empty or destroyed.

Chief Engineer's Office
On the left as you enter engineering is the CE's office. He is the head of the department.

Storage
Located north of the engine is the storage room. This room houses both of Engineering's two hardsuits, a few batteries, door and power control modules, a tank dispenser, a crate that contains extra solar panels and a solar tracking beacon, and various consoles.

Secure Storage
West of storage is the secure storage room. The button to open the shutters to this room are in the CE's office or you can disable the APC's power. It contains spare materials, backup parts for the singularity/tesla engine (more can be ordered at cargo), and a large plasma canister. Some people will try to break in here to steal the emitters to open locked crates.

Secure storage contains:

• A crate with spare construction materials and Solid Plasma
• A Plasma Canister
• Two Anti-Breach Shielding Projector
• Four Emitters
• Five Field Generators

Escape Pod
In case of an evacuation, the engineering pod is usually the safest pod to take, assuming the singularity doesn't threaten you. It is located east of Engineering through the Telecomms airlock and then south through the external airlock.

The Engine
The supermatter engine is based in Atmospherics, however Engineering has space in the west to create a full singularity or tesla engine if wanted.

SMES Room
In the southern section of engineering is the small SMES room. It houses three SMES cells which provide power to the station. This room is a prime target of antagonists looking to black out the station, so check each SMES once in a while to make sure they're not empty or destroyed.

Chief Engineer's Office
West of the foyer is the CE's office. He is the head of the department and has a second private room also.

Storage
Located south-east of the engine setup is the storage room. This room houses all of Engineering's three hardsuits, magboots, jetpacks, an oxygen canister, a P.A.C.M.A.N. and a tank dispenser.

Secure Storage
North of storage is the secure storage room. The button to open the shutters to this room are in the CE's office or you can disable the APC's power. It contains spare plasma sheets, backup parts for the singularity/tesla engine (more can be ordered at cargo), and two large plasma canisters. Some people will try to break in here to steal the emitters to open locked crates.

Secure storage contains:

• A crate with a GPS, crowbar and Solid Plasma
• Two Plasma Canisters
• Four Anti-Breach Shielding Projector
• Four Emitters
• Four Field Generators
• Two tesla coils

Gravity Generator Room
West of the foyer and CE's office is the gravity generator room. It houses the gravity generator which is responsible for keeping gravity on the station.

Secure Storage
West of the SMES room is the secure storage room. The button to open the shutters to this room is just outside this room on the wall. It contains spare plasma sheets, advanced magboots, emitters, and a large plasma canister. Some people will try to break in here to steal the emitters to open locked crates.
