Purpose:	To make healthy fruits and vegetables for the chef to process and the rest of the crew to munch on.

The Botanist works here. Located in the middle of the civil sector and sharing a window with the Kitchen, this is where food is grown. BoxStation hydroponics is separated into three areas: The main room, the back room and the drying room.

The Main Room

The main room is where you will spend most of your time as a botanist, it is visible by everyone using the hallway and the kitchen. Scattered around the room are various buckets, sinks and water tanks to make watering plants in here very easy.

The key things present in this room are:

• The MegaSeed Servitor vending machine
• The NutriMax vending machine
• The Seed Extractor
• The Biogenerator
• Sixteen hydroponics trays
• The smartfridge
• Two desks

The MegaSeed Servitor is one of two vending machines in this room designed to make your job a little easier. A full list of items included in it can be found here.
The NutriMax vending machine is the second of those two vending machines. A full list of items included in it can be found here.
The Seed Extractor does what the name suggests: It extracts seeds from plants fed to it.
The Biogenerator, when filled with plants (except nettle, flowers and logs) can produce, for a biomass cost:

• E-Z-Nutrient, Left 4 Zed, Robust Harvest, weed killer, pest killer and empty bottles
• Milk, cream, black pepper and monkey cubes
• Belts, cloth for clothes, hats and leather goods.

Hydroponic trays are what you will grow your plants in. Simply place a seed into it to begin.
The smartfridge is your way to hand food over to the cook without having to interact with them at all. The fridge is shared between Hydroponics and the Kitchen - anything placed inside is accessible from both sides.
Finally, there are two desks in the main room. The desk leading to the kitchen is another way to hand food over to the kitchen. It also makes it easier to ask them what plants they need. The desk leading to the hallway will allow you to fulfill the clown's never-ending love for bananas any public requests.

This is where all the technical stuff happens. It might look as simple as just placing that wheat seed into that hydroponics tray but it's not! On the table is a number of Plant-B-Gone sprays, a backpack water tank and a guide book left behind with a note.

• Disk compartmentalizer
• Hydrobe

The All-In-One Grinder grinds any plants into something else - eg. Sugar Cane into Sugar, Wheat into Flour.
The plant DNA manipulator allows you to place any trait or stat from one plant onto another - Want slippery apples? Then extract the trait from bananas using this!
The disk compartmentalizer is a machine used to store a variety of disks.
The hydrobe is where clothing is stored.

The Drying Room

The drying rack is used to dry plants, usually different types of weed, in order to get them ready for smoking. Papers and lights can be found in the vendor in order to make your own rollies.

• Service protolathe

The drying rack is used to dry plants, usually different types of weed, in order to get them ready for smoking. Papers and lights can be found in the vendor in order to make your own rollies.
Not to be confused with the Protolathe. An autolathe is a fabricator of the not-so-fancy, but still necessary basic tools and materials.
Not to be confused with the Autolathe. The protolathe fabricates newly researched equipment that is relevant to your department, such as the Floral Somatoray.
