This place is designed to hold the most dangerous, vile, corrupt crew member on board the Yogstation. If you get yourself landed in here then you're pretty much guaranteed to be stuck in there. The only obvious way of escaping is back through the Brig...which is full of obvious hazards. Which leaves space...that also doesn't sound very tempting. But when someones desperate enough, who knows.
If you've fucked up big time this is where Security will put you. This "luxurious suite" is a shared living space among all those sentenced to life imprisonment. Includes a washroom, toilet, a laundry, a book printer and some vending machines. All red doors here require Holding Cells access to open, thus excluding the Detective, Lawyers and non-security Heads of Staff.

Life As An Inmate
Each cell is equipped with a wall-mounted flasher, and blast doors that can be used during prisoner transfers, or as a way to isolate trouble inmates.
There isn't much to do. If you wanted to be able to do things then you shouldn't have landed up in here. However, there is arcade machines to keep you somewhat occupied, vending machines to keep you alive, access to the libraries database and a little botony section so you can grow your own fresh food! You could even right your own book.
Each cell has a bed, a table and an intercom. Be careful in here though. If Security chooses to, they can completely seal you in your cell. Gotta love those Blast Doors. There is also a mounted flash in there to add to your worries.
The Prison Wing has it's own washing machines so you can keep your clothes nice and clean. What about keeping me clean? Glad you asked, there is a nice little shower and a toilet so that you can do what you need to do.

Escape?
The Prisoner "Transfer" Room
It's pretty much impossible without a companion to break you out. Ideally, a friend would be a member of security who can just waltz in and snatch you and release you. But sometimes elaborate escapes are needed. Some C4 on a window and a friend outside with a space suit should do the trick. Just be quick before you die. Also, both escape routes are dangerous. If the department is even half competent they will either hear the explosion or realize that someone in permabrig shouldn't be walking out of permabrig. Make sure you move quickly and try not to draw attention to yourself!
Through the dark, nasty corridor, this is the place with no cameras where prisoners are transfered to another place so they can't do any more harm to anyone... In other words, eliminated through CO2, a lethal injection syringe or oldskool punching-your-face-to-mush.

Each cell is equipped with a wall-mounted flasher, and blast doors that can be used during prisoner transfers, or as a way to isolate trouble inmates.

The Prisoner "Transfer" Room

Through the dark, nasty corridor, this is the place with no cameras where prisoners are transfered to another place so they can't do any more harm to anyone... In other words, eliminated through CO2, a lethal injection syringe or oldskool punching-your-face-to-mush.

This is because a normal Asimov-lawset AI is required by its laws to stop any harm, even if it's being directed at the most murderboning antagonist. The smarty-pants of Nanotrasen have thus come up with a brilliant plan of telling a small white lie to the AI to commit one harm to save dozens of lives from further harm.

Prison Break

Generally, escape from the permabrig is impossible without outside help. However, a prepared traitor can escape easily. A uplink implant can be smuggled unseen after injection and will give you exactly enough crystals to buy a space suit and a piece of c4 for destroying the wall should you be captured; however, that will use up all but one of your crystals, so you will need to accomplish your mission without other Syndicate gear.

If you didn't plan ahead, but a foolish Warden left you with some items, you can smash the window open, use a shard of glass to break the electrified grille, and in your pockets and hands carry some sodas. Run out of the window and head right; if you move fast and know the exact route you are going, you can run around the ship, past solars, and make it back to the Escape airlocks and get on the station before you die.

The final way to escape is to lure someone inside, use the bar of soap to slip them, take their stun baton and stun them, then strip and kill them, and use their ID to escape. Remember to take their radio off first or you will get dog-piled by backup.
