===How to be a robust alien===
Aliums. Ahhhh, Aliums. Everyone begs the [[Team#Council Members|Gods]] to give them the honour. Speaking from personal experience, it's fun as hell when you get it, and I hope this guide can clear any confusion that may exist.
If you get alien on yog, you are one lucky son of a gun, anyway when you start as an alien, you are faced with many things and numbers, here is what to expect from them:

What you'll want to do is become a drone, find a secure and safe place to settle, and start planting. Evolve into a Queen, and start laying some eggs. Be aware, that unlike other Aliens, you cannot ventcrawl. When you find [[Clown|someone]] hanging around maint, throw a facehugger you got from one of the eggs you planted at him. You can infect monkeys, so be sure to raid Genetics, Xenobio, and Virology for more soldiers in your ever growing army.

evolve, this lets you become a queen ( or if larva, a different caste of alium)

===Taking Over the Station===

As a Queen, your word is the law. Advice is when you have a force. Get your hunters to snatch up humans and infect them. Order your Sentinels to defend your hive from attackers. Command your Drones to fortify your <s>castle</s> nest. When enough people are aliens, go loud and kill everyone. If nukeops come, robust them, aliens are tough, but make sure that the queen survives, or at least one drone or larva, it only takes one to start an infestation.

===Climbing the alien property ladder===
Hopefully this guide helped you in taking over the station, and you're rolling in tasty human corpses, and the station has gone purple from alien weeds. If not, there will probably be another time. It's all about luck, and how skilled you are at commanding your purple mobile death machines.
First find a good place to nest in, then get your queen to move to that place ( she cannot ventcrawl so escort her) then plant weeds and if you are of the sentinel caste, build resin walls, by clicking the appropriate verbs in ALIEN VERBS. Then make some nests to trap the humans in while they are hugged, get your queen to lay eggs and hatch those cute little face huggers, then get any hunters you may have to snatch up some unsuspecting humans, BUT DO NOT KILL THEM, dead humans cannot burst. Throw a facehugger at any person you see this will infect them

Now you have a nest and a few humans strip them of any thing they are wearing and plant them in a RESIN NEST (same way as bucklecuffing, drag them to it with mouse) you will want to disarm them to knock them over so they cannot resist. In some time a new baby will hatch (explode from the chest) you should protect it while it grows up

In Space No One Can Hear You- Oh Nevermind

If you are lucky enough to roll Xenomorph on YogStation, then RNGesus favours you. Anyway, when you start as an Alien, lots of numbers and stuff are thrown in your face.

  • That number on the left side is your Plasma Storage, this is consumed by your abilities (much like a Changeling).
  • Plant Weeds. You plant gross alium weeds that give plasma to aliums that stand on them. They also heal you, so drag any injured aliens onto them, and they should regenerate from crit. Plant them EVERYWHERE.
  • Evolve. This lets you become a Queen, if none are present and you are a drone. If you're a Larva, this allows you to choose from the Hunter, Sentinel or Drone castes.
  • Xenomorph Chat. This is the Hivemind, speak through it by prefixing your speech with :a.

So You Wanna Build a Xenomorph Empire

If you're lucky enough to be the very first Alium, don't squander it. You have been presented the chance to rule over a badass armada of things with teeth, lots and lots of teeth. What you'll want to do is become a drone, find a secure and safe place to settle, and start planting. Evolve into a Queen, and start laying some eggs. Be aware, that unlike other Aliens, you cannot ventcrawl. When you find someone hanging around maint, throw a facehugger you got from one of the eggs you planted at him. When he goes down, start stunning him continually with your stun intent that Aliens have. Drag him to a nest, and buckle him into it. Once you have gathered enough aliens, you won't have to do it yourself. Keep planting eggs, and make a proper hive. Once you have an autonomous production, you should make some forward bases, but always keep your main hive strong and defendable. Some great areas to build hives are:

  • Solars
  • Above the Chapel
  • East Science Maintenance
  • AI Core (Assuming there's no AI)
  • Other Maintenance Areas
  • Virology

Get any Hunters you may have to snatch up some unsuspecting humans, BUT DO NOT KILL THEM, dead humans cannot burst. Throw a facehugger at any person you see. This will infect them.

For Unto Us, a Child is Born

Now you have a nest and a few humans, strip them of any thing they are wearing and plant them in a Resin Nest (same way as bucklecuffing, drag them to it with mouse). You will want to disarm them to knock them over so they cannot resist. In some time a new baby will explode from their chest, killing them. You should protect it while it grows up. You can infect monkeys, so be sure to raid Genetics, Xenobio, and Virology for more soldiers in your ever growing army.

Taking Over the Station

As a Queen, your word is the law. Advice is when you have a force. Get your hunters to snatch up humans and infect them. Order your Sentinels to defend your hive from attackers. Command your Drones to fortify your castle nest. When enough people are aliens, go loud and kill everyone. If nukeops come, robust them, aliens are tough, but make sure that the queen survives, or at least one drone or larva, it only takes one to start an infestation.

Final Words

Hopefully this guide helped you in taking over the station, and you're rolling in tasty human corpses, and the station has gone purple from alien weeds. If not, there will probably be another time. It's all about luck, and how skilled you are at commanding your purple mobile death machines.
