This is a WIP wiki page for the job that may be added by Adds Brig Physicians #11776. Depending on how that PR goes, this may be added as a new page, used as a temporary guide, or even just completely scraped. As of right now, this is not backed by the enforcement of an admin or staff and are purely my ramblings of how I expect this job to be played. If anything here seems wrong or a bad addition, please tell me and I will try to fix it when I get the chance.

The Brig Physician is a doctor that helps security staff with medical issues, be it healing an officer or harvesting the organs of tending to prisoners. Do to you unique position on the station you have many thing that you can do, be it making security more machine than man or seeing how many organs are actually required for a prisoner to live. As with everyone else, you are to follow The Law and your supervisors to the best of your abilities. Also, remember that even thought you have a mindshield and brig access, you are not a security officer and should try to to help officers do their job, not do it for them. You should also have a good understanding of medical (be able to revive people, know surgery, ect.) and have a basic understanding of space law, as all security staff should.

Bare minimum requirements: Patch up prisoners and security officers.

The Brig

As the brig physician, your main priority is to keep personnel in the brig alive and healthy, be it a prisoner who broke into the caps office or an officer that got jumped by a traitor. When the round starts, you have more than enough tools to fix common ailments and wounds, but you probably encounter stuff that the brig infirmary cant treat. If you find an medical issue that you are unable to fix in the infirmary, you should consult the warden or Head of Security if you can take them to the medbay if they are a prisoner, or walk them their if they are security personnel.

Item	Description
First-Aid Kit	This will fit inside your backpack, and it has a number of useful items inside that can help you treat injured personnel:
File:Utatul.png/File:Utatul.png/File:Utatul.png Brig Physician's Jumpsuit/Jacket/Cap	The uniform of the staring Brig Physician. While they help you stand out from other doctors, they provide no protection unlike other security uniforms.
/ Jackboots/Reinforced Footwraps	Your standard footwear, they provide protection from broken glass and not looking good.
Roller Bed	Used to move bodies quickly without the slowdown from fireman carry and without trailing blood.
File:Utatul.png Medical HUDSunglasses	A heads-up display that scans the humans in view and provides accurate data about their health status. In addition it allows provides protection from flashes. Wear this at all times.
MedSec Radio Headset	A headset that is a result of the mating between medical and security. It can access both medical (:m) and security (:s) radio channels.

Medical PDA Cartridge	A cartridge that can be put into you PDA for more functionality. Your PDA starts with one in it.
Medical Belt	A belt that can hold most common medical tools and some uncommon ones too. It can hold the same amount as a First-Aid Kit, but it can be worn around your waist.
Crew Pinpointer	A device that can be used to find crew members if they have their sensors on "Beacon". Useful for finding dead officers.
Handheld Crew Monitor	A portable computer that displays a varying amount of information of all the crewmembers with suit sensors. It can show binary "alive" or "dead" at low suit sensors, or exact damage amounts and location at higher levels.
Anesthetic Tank/Medical Mask	A useful tool to have for surgery to reduce flinching or to keep an unruly prisoner under while transporting them.
