Captain overview
You are the captain of the station.
You are the captain and are in control of the station. You are at the top of the chain of command and are in charge of all the heads. You have to make sure that every other head is doing their job and, if they are not doing their job or they are causing harm to the station or crew, you must find a way of dealing with it. If your staff behave in a very unruly way, it is up to you to ensure they get demoted.
Your duties include:
- Making sure the station stays in working order.
- Making sure the heads run their departments well.
- Settling disputes between the heads.
- Protecting the nuclear disc.
- Making critical decisions including prisoner execution and staff demotions.
- Secure the disk... I'm serious, we can jobban you for that
Tools & gear
As the captain you have some of the most prestigious gear in the game, here is a list:
- Captains jumpsuit.
- Captains carapace with a hat to go with it.
- Captains gloves.
- An energy gun.
- Captains spare ID.
- The nuclear disc.
- Sunglasses.
Tips
- You are in possession of the nuke disk, keep it safe. It is highly advised to keep it on yourself, rather than putting it in the safe in your office, as that can be broken into.
- You will have a lot of people asking you questions all the time. You will have to make sure you deal with them in the right order. For example, if someone tells you there are aliens on board, it is a lot more important than the chef telling you he has run out of meat.
- You are not security. If you hear there is a criminal who has stolen someone's ID, it is not your job to go hunting them. You can do so, but theat will mean that you are not doing other, important things that only the captain can do. Know your role and stick to it.
