Prisoners found guilty of capital crimes may not be executed summarily, and executions must be done through the proper channels through a Captain's permission or an official legal trial. However, an execution cannot be immediately sought unless the criminal meets one of the following criteria:
One of the below conditions must be met before seeking approval from the Captain or a Trial for execution.


#The criminal is significantly difficult to contain. This can include but is not limited to: Changelings, Wizards, Vampires, Shadowlings, Heretics, and Darkspawn.
#The use of deadly force is permissible in accordance with the above section Use of Deadly Force, in this case, approval from the Captain or a Trial is not required.
#The criminal is a significant threat at large and has clear intention of endangering the entire crew. This can include but is not limited to: Nuclear Operatives.
#The criminal is a danger to other prisoners, including attempting to or successfully murdering other prisoners in the permanent brig or labor camp.
#The criminal is a danger to other prisoners, including attempting to or successfully murdering other prisoners in the permabrig or labor camp.
#The criminal poses a reasonable ability and desire to escape the permanent brig or labor camp unassisted and cannot be cyborgized.
#The criminal poses a reasonable ability and desire to escape the permabrig or labor camp unassisted and cannot be Cyborgized.
#The criminal cannot be safely sent to the permanent brig, the labor camp, or to be cyborgized.
#The criminal cannot be safely sent to Permanent Prison Time, Permanent [[Labor Camp]] Time, or Cyborgization.
#The criminal gives written consent to be executed.
 
In the event that an execution is permissible, executions should be done through the prisoner transfer center unless the suspect meets either criteria 1 or 2.
