==== Executions within Space Law ====
Prisoners found guilty of capital crimes may not be executed summarily, and executions must be done through the proper channels through a Captain's permission or a Trial with a minimum jury size of 6 non-security crew members. However, an execution cannot be immediately sought without exhausting the other options of punishment, being Permanent Prison Time, Permanent [[Labor Camp]] Time, or Cyborgization, or if the prisoner meets one of several criteria:
# The prisoner is significantly difficult to contain. This can include but is not limited to: Changelings, Wizards, Vampires, Shadowlings, and Darkspawn.
# The suspect is a threat at large and poses a significant danger to the station. This can include but is not limited to: Nuclear Operatives and Syndicate Hijackers.
# The prisoner is a danger to other prisoners, including attempting to or successfully murdering other prisoners in the permabrig or labor camp.
# The prisoner poses a reasonable ability to escape the permabrig or labor camp unassisted, note that execution should only result if science is unwilling or unable to turn the prisoner into a cyborg.<br />
