Xenobiology Lab: Difference between revisions

North-west of the lab is a more relaxed area, the only useful item here being some [[File:Monkey Cube Box.png]] monkey cubes. Here there is also a disposals unit. This one is not paired with a containment pen - it leads straight into space, that way the ''lab rats'' can't escape into the [[Disposals|disposal system]].

There is a chamber to the north, surrounded by electric windows and two layers of windoors. This chamber was built to be used for xenomorph experimentation and to secure other hostile creatures, but now-a-days it is commonly used as a larger slime pen. In the rare case of a xenomorph actually getting contained, there are a number of safety measures set in place. The electrified windows, in case they weren't secure enough, comes equipped with blast doors that are accessible from a button just outside the chamber. "''But won't that stop me from seeing inside?''" I hear you ask. The answer is no, there's a monitor for the chamber on a table next to the blast doors button. The final safety measure is the shield wall generators. When these are set up correctly, nothing you contain will be able to break through that. In case you wanted to feed whatever monster you have managed to contain, or simply give it items to observe its behavior with, there's a handy little disposal chute on the right side of the chamber that leads directly inside.
