Bonuses
- Possesses a potent self-regenerative effect when in sufficiently well-lit areas. This effect requires conscious upkeep by the Phytosian, and is halted should they fall unconscious.
- Derive the majority of their nutrition from light. Eating is not necessary for a Phytosian, though they may if they desire it.
Downsides
- Darkness is their greatest enemy, halting their innate regeneration and turning it against them. No Phytosian can survive in total darkness for long, though even the cold void of
- space is lit by the stars.
- Extremely weak to high temperatures. An average Phytosian can tolerate extreme heat for half as long as a normal human, and about an eighth of the time of an Unathi.
- Burn-type injuries worsen significantly faster on Phytosians.
