The Sec Records
Security records computers keep a digital log of everything Security is keeping track of. While Security can edit the records to keep very specific data about criminal history, sentencing, parole hearings, and other information, mostly the records are used to keep track of who is set to arrest. Persons of interest will have their names brightly lit up on a red background, while people who are incarcerated or have been released will have other colors as well. Anyone who can get into the record system can freely edit it once it is unlocked, and can set anyone else to arrest without needing a Security HUD.
What's that Assistant? You saw someone killed? BY WHO!
Crime is rampant on Nanotrasen research stations. Before you go out on a duck hunt for the Traitor, you can use the computer set them to arrest without needing to see them. This will also make the Security-borgs and Beepsky attempt to apprehend them as well. Remember that anyone can use the computer, so keep an eye on who is set to arrest and make sure some Assistant isn't setting the whole medical department to arrest for kicks.
How to use for your traitorous advantages
If you can get into the security records, celebrate. With two pushes of a button, you now never existed on the security records! They may be able to add your record back, but everything about you will be gone except for your name if they do add it back. If you don't want it so obvious you messed with your records change one letter in your fingerprint, now that snooping detective can no longer match your prints to the crime scene.
