The [[Botanist]] works here. Located in the middle of the civil sector east of the station and sharing a window with the [[Kitchen]] and [[Bar]], this is where food is grown. GaxStation hydroponics is separated into three areas: The main room, the back room and the drying room.

The main room is where you will spend most of your time as a [[Botanist|botanist]], it is visible by everyone using the hallway, kitchen and bar. Scattered around the room are various buckets, sinks and water tanks to make watering plants in here very easy.

* Ten hydroponics trays

*Plant DNA manipulator

*Disk compartmentalizer

:* E-Z-Nutrient, Left 4 Zed, Robust Harvest, weed killer, pest killer and empty bottles

:* Milk, cream, black pepper and monkey cubes

:* Belts, cloth for clothes, hats and leather goods.

 

Finally, there are three desks in the main room. The desk leading to the kitchen is another way to hand food over to the kitchen. It also makes it easier to ask them what plants they need. The desk leading to the hallway will allow you to fulfill <s>the clown's never-ending love for bananas</s> any public requests. The desk leading to the bar can allow handoffs to the bartender for drinks or the public.

This is mostly a storage room with spare equipment.

 

==The Drying Room==

Every smoker's dream room. Accessible by the other service departments.

This room contains:

*Drying racks

*ShadyCigs Deluxe

[[File:Drying_rack.png]] The drying rack is used to dry plants, usually different types of weed, in order to get them ready for smoking. Papers and lights can be found in the vendor in order to make your own rollies.<br>

[[File:Autolathe.png]] Not to be confused with the Protolathe. An autolathe is a fabricator of the not-so-fancy, but still necessary basic tools and materials.<br>

[[File:Protolathe.png]] Not to be confused with the Autolathe. The protolathe fabricates newly researched equipment that is relevant to your department, such as the Floral Somatoray.

This is where the botanists get geared up. On the table is a number of Plant-B-Gone sprays, a backpack water tank and a weedkiller grenade.

To the left of hydroponics is a public storage room. On the table are various seeds and plants, and a guide book left behind with a note.

The key things present in this room are:

* The [[MegaSeed Servitor]] vending machine

* The [[NutriMax]] vending machine
