The drive of each ex'hau regarding survival and individualistic desires is notable. They tend more rarely toward offensive action, unless in a community. The variety of cultures is widespread, but a fair number of mothpeople can prove quite violent if provoked. Those who exist in ethereal-majority communities tend to shun and eschew these tendencies, however. Overall, with their low morale and selfish tendencies, moths are more likely to defend only if necessary, opting to flee from undesirable fights.
