Gang War is still under development and should only be run as a playtest by an admin.
Game mode details are subject to change as the game mode is further developed.

File:Gangicon.png Gang War, or just "Gang", is a unique game mode built specifically for tgstation-code. It has no relation to Goonstation's gang mode.

Tunnel Snakes Rule!

A violent turf war between two rival factions has erupted on the station! Similar to Revolution, there are Gang Bosses, one per gang, who can "persuade" other crew members to join their ranks.

In order for a gang to claim victory, the boss for the opposing gang must be either dead or off-station.

If the shuttle is allowed to evacuate the station, both gangs will lose.

  • Flash people to recruit them!
  • You cannot recruit anyone who is loyalty implanted, or already belongs to a gang. Heads of staff, however, can be recruited.
  • Anonymity is key. Making too much noise is likely to attract unwanted attention from both security and your rivals.
  • Heads of Staff and members of Security cannot spawn as Gang Bosses.
  • You will have a Syndicate Uplink in either your PDA or radio. Feel free to distribute the items, or make good use of it yourself.
  • The Recaller in your backpack will allow you to prevent the station from prematurely evacuating. Only you can use the Recaller device. If the shuttle is allowed to dock with the station, you lose.
  • Remember that rival gangsters can be reverted to a neutral crew member by beating them in the head! Recruit them yourself afterwards and extract information about the rival gang boss's identity and their plans.

Gangster.png Gangsters

  • Work with your fellow gangsters to help your boss take over the station by defeating their rivals!
  • Don't let your boss be taken in by the authorities, or worse, killed! Protect him with your life!

Hudcentcom.png Station Staff

  • Protect the station and its crew!
  • Identify and stop the mob bosses to win.
  • Avoid killing mob bosses as you could very well cause their rivals to win. Instead, confiscate their Recallers and keep them brigged. Catch both of them alive and you will be able to evacuate the station safely.
  • Using loyalty implants on or beating gangsters in the head can sway them from their life of crime.
