File:Gangicon.png Gang War, or just "Gang", is a unique game mode built specifically for TGStation 13. In it, two station factions fight each other for dominance over the station. Both factions start small, consisting only of one or two Gang Bosses, who need to recruit crew members (using Flashes) to grow their influence.

NOTE: Gang War is still under development and should only be run as a playtest by an admin. Game mode details are subject to change as the game mode is further developed.

Tunnel Snakes Rule!

A violent turf war between two rival factions has erupted on the station! Similar to Revolution, there are Gang Bosses who can "persuade" other crew members to join their ranks. In order for a gang to claim victory, all the bosses for the opposing gang must be either dead or off-station.

If the shuttle is allowed to evacuate the station, both gangs will lose.

Station Staff

  • Protect the Station and its Crew!
  • Identify and stop the mob bosses to win!
  • Avoid killing mob bosses as you could very well cause their rivals to win. Instead, confiscate their recallers and keep them brigged. Catch them all and you will be able to evacuate the station safely!
  • Remember that gangsters can be reformed by beating them in the head! Use this to get information on who the gang bosses are!
  • Like Cult, loyalty implants will prevent a crew member from joining a gang, but they cannot de-convert those who are already gangsters.

  • Flash people to recruit them!
  • You cannot recruit anyone who is loyalty implanted, or already belong to a gang!
  • Keep in mind that your underlings can only identify their bosses, but not each other. You must coordinate your gang effectively to beat out the competition.
  • Mass recruitment is more likely to blow your cover than help. A large, uncoordinated gang is ineffective and prone to friendly fire! Be selective about who you recruit.
  • Anonymity is key. Making too much noise is likely to attract unwanted attention from both security and your rivals.
  • The Recaller in your backpack will allow you to prevent the station from prematurely evacuating. Use it to recall the emergency shuttle from anywhere on the station. If the shuttle is allowed to dock with the station, you lose!

Gangsters Gangster.png

  • Help your bosses take over the station by defeating their rivals.
  • You can tell who are your bosses, but not who your fellow gangsters are!
  • Only your bosses can see the membership of the entire gang
  • Subtlety is key. Work closely with your boss to ensure you don't attack your own teammates!
