The main inputs:

1) fusion fuel mix will be whichever recipe you select, tritium/o2 or h2/o2 are pretty easy and produce a good amount of heat along with a few useful gases, it's the green side and you'll want to use a 50/50 mix for all recipes
2) moderator mix will likely be a mix of plasma, BZ, oxygen, and whatever else you might add. plasma and BZ make the reaction hotter and produce more interesting byproducts, while oxygen in high quantities can reduce iron content. this is the blue side
3) waste is the red side and is the output for the waste and whatever you filter from the moderator, you will either pipe this directly to a passive vent in space or pass it through a filter first to collect certain byproduct gases you might want to keep, make sure it doesn't clog
4) the center is the cooling, and should be connected to a cooling loop in space or a freezer bank, tritium/o2 as the fuel i use a 6x6 space loop with 3 layers filled with about 5000-10000 moles of plasma but you will need more or less depending on the recipe used
