Getting Started

So your primary goal is to capture, and experiment on humanoids, Usually the goal is 6 or 7, because this job is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT EASY.

You as the alien cannot speak, so you and your partner contain a telepathic language that allows you to communicate, just as a FYI if you want to capture humans, COMMUNICATION IS KEY TO SUCCESS!! (Just not METAcommunication)

Getting to know your gear

So you are aliens,you can see the gear you have, but how does it all work?, the console to the left is a camera console, you can scan people (for disguises) mark the agent (to beam him back up) and isolate people to attack.

Just use the console and the cameras work much like the ai's you move them like you would move yourself. You will notice several Icons at the top, most of which involve the science tool, you can toggle the mode of it to SCAN, MARK and PROBE, scan adds a person's image (with clothing) to the database so you may let the agent use it as a disguise, however, this copies handcuffs too, so if that happens people WILL notice you.

If you go to the console next to the telepad, you can set your agent's vest to stealth (disguise) and combat mode, combat gives him more protection, but cannot have disguises on it. Now, you are ready to go, let your agent know where he is going in and discuss a safe word, this can be said quickly to give a signal that it has gone south, an example would be "RED" as soon as the scientist hears it, he should beam the agent up ASAP. REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR AGENT TAGGED FOR TELEPORTATION, you can only teleport marked targets.

As an agent, you have no control over your vest, you do have a pistol (a VERY last resort item) a comms silencer and a large pink stun stick with different modes

Restrain lets you cuff people by clicking them with the baton, sleep makes them sleep after a short delay, stun acts like a stunbaton and probe ("Citation needed") probes.

Capturing Hoomins 101

First off, have your scientist find a nice, Isolated human, a good place to look is the chef (In his back room) or the virologist, he eill tag you with his science stick and send you down, Now here you have two options, RAMBO, or the closet, a Rambo-lien will charge in and use sheer robustness to nab the target, he will use a stun, disable comms sleep cuff combo in a fury of clicks.

This tactic is good when the target DOES NOT have stun weapons and is not very combat effective.

Or there is the closet, where you wait for him to leave, beam in, hide in the locker and stun them when they come in, this is very reliable for single target takedowns but is terrible against mutliple targets, always comm silence the victim before getting your scientist to tag him.

Field abduction as a scientist

Now yor agent has put a person to sleep, time to go in youtself, simply tag yourself, beam in, select mark mode on the tool, whack the person (this takes a few seconds so be sure you are safe), then use your EMERGENCY BEAM implant on the top actions bar to go back, then teleport the marked person in, dump them on the table and you are good to go!.

Now either beam your agent back to help you or give him a new disguise and keep him in the field.


The Surgery

So you have captured yourself a human..AWESOME!! now it's time to play with their organs! (Do make sure they don't get back up during surgery, have the agent spam them with his baton on sleep mode if needs be) File:Hud target torso.gif Target: Chest

Step 1:   Scalpel: make an incision.   (65%)   (45%)
Step 2:   Hemostat: clamp bleeders.   (60%)   (15%)
Step 3:   Retractor: retract the skin.   (45%)   (35%)
Step 4:   Scalpel: make an incision.   (65%)   (45%)
Step 5:   Remove unnecessary organs / Use your hands to find the organs.
Step 6:   Gland: Insert the chosen gland.


So now that your done with the surgery you will want to stick them back into the teleporter, and send them back to the station to poop eggs, one does this via the experimental machinery where one can earn points towards thier goal.

Ship Console   Use this to set teleporter destination or retrieve people marked by scientist tools
Experiment Machinery   This is where the magic happens. Put in human with replaced organs and select one of the options to finish the experiment. Warning : The subject will be sent to teleporter destination immediately if experiment succeeds.
Telepad   Stand on this if you want to be sent to the station
Gland Storage File:Dispensor.png Contains replacement organs needed for experimental dissection.
Surgery Table   Perform dissection on this.
Observation Console   Use this to find secluded humans, mark agents or gather disguises.


Abductor Agent

You're the strong man! Iron man away! You go out and capture the marked ones that your partner has for you.

Agent Vest   Allows you to take the disguise of a humanoid
Stealth Mode

Vest

  Same as above
Combat Vest   This mode significantly increases armor values of the vest and allows you to use inbuilt anti-stun injector. You can't maintain the disguise in this mode.
Silencer   Use this device to silently turn off radios and headsets around the targeted human.
Decloner   Your self-defense sidearm, deals radiation damage but needs to be recharged using station rechargers. Remember you need your specimens alive!
Stunbaton

& Handcuffs

  Use these to capture the specimens for research.

Remember, a dead humanoid is not a good humanoid to work on, and you may get banned for killing humanoids as an abductor if you had already restrained them, but self defense is fine.

Abductor Scientist

So your the Surgeon I mean... Organ taker! You help your partner, by marking and giving disguises to him, along with taking organs from the captured humans!

Bloody Gland Sprays blood on everything in sight and deals medium brute damage to abductee
Bodysnatcher Gland Turns the abductee into a cocoon from which bodysnatchers hatch
Plasma Gland Explodes the abductee in a cloud of plasma
