The Engineering Department has rooms all around the station - such as [[Atmospherics]] - but this page will focus on facilities that are in the Engineering section of the station only.

The engine is fixed as the [[Supermatter|Supermatter Engine]]. The engine is the main source of power into the station. The engine is in the centre of Engineering.

The noorth of Engineering is where this room is located. It houses three [[Engineering_items#SMES_Cell|SMES cells]] which provide power to the station. A P.A.C.M.A.N. portable-generator is also located here. This room is a prime target of antagonists looking to black out the station, so check each SMES once in a while to make sure they're not empty or destroyed.

This room houses both of Engineering's two hardsuits, a few batteries, door and power control modules, a tank dispenser, a crate that contains extra solar panels and a solar tracking beacon, and various consoles. There is also an SMES unit, which is used to power the engine in an emergency.

South of the engine is the secure storage room. The button to open the shutters to this room are in the CE's office <s>or you can disable the APC's power</s>. It contains spare materials, backup parts for the engine (more can be ordered at [[Cargo Bay|cargo]]), and a large plasma canister. [[Quartermaster|Some]] [[Cargo_Technician|people]] will try to break in here to steal the emitters to open locked crates.
