Plasmamen are a race of ever-burning husks contained within bio-suits. Plasmamen were once beings of myth and legend; tales to scare Toxins scientists into never building bombs ever. Needless to say, the clever ploy failed as to this day, Toxins continues to blow up stations everywhere by accident or on purpose for malicious intent.

It was confirmed recently that Plasmamen are indeed the victims of station-engulfing plasma fires and were the poor souls who happened to reach EVA or medbay to don biosuits in order to keep themselves alive. As apparent of their husks condition, this no doubt proved fruitless.

Plasmamen are the husked, charred remains of previous Nanotrasen employees who were recovered in ERT missions in order to send the remains back to their families. ERT found many of their supposedly extinguished employees locked within biosuits with no previous memories and only a fragment of their personalities.

Plasmamen are locked in a state of undeath with a surprising amount of sentience. Many xenobiologists wonder if the unknown properties of plasma may actually have some life-giving properties, as evident by their mysterious clutches on a semblance of their previous life.

Gameplay

Plasmamen start in a space suit with mask, because they only breathe plasma. Thus, you have to keep a good stock of plasma or you'll suffocate. Additionally, you set any and all plasma on fire when you're unsuited. So you're like a walking death machine if there's a plasma leak. Don't fuck up.

Plasmamen are, at the moment, an admin-only playable race.

Note that as a plasmaman, the AI does not consider you human and is not obligated to listen to you. Centcom also maintains a strict "Human-Only" policy for Command Staff appointments.
