Paramedic Staging Area
The only place where suit sensors get checked.
Purpose:	Watching the crew monitor console.

The Paramedic Staging Area is where paramedics will watch the crew monitoring consoles and prepare for a medical emergency. Patients generally do not go into the staging area, they should be brought to Medbay. The staging area is the base of operations for the paramedic. There is a window with shutters in the north-east corner of the room, so the paramedic can easily look into Medbay.

The main part of this room are the consoles. This room contains one of three ready-built Crew Monitoring Consoles, and a Medical Records Console. These, the monitoring console especially, are very useful to the paramedic. To the south of these is a fire-safety closet, in case of a crew member having to be rescued from an area with a fire or heat hazard.

The tables on the west side of the room contain avariety of medkits,HUD health scanners and folded roller beds.

To the south of the tables is a suit storage unit containing:

• Space suit
• Space suit helmet
• Breath mask

The south of the room contains two lockers, containing spare clothes, medical items, defibrillators and medical belts.
